Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has upgraded their struts on their 2016 or newer Sorento to get a more firm ride? Or simply bc mileage is high and they are due to be replaced?

These things are notably soft ride off the showroom floor and as noted in many auto reviews.

Looking for suggestions on Struts front/rear or Spring upgrades for front/rear.

Thanks in advance,
Miles

www.4x4proyect.com is the official importer of Eibach for Spain, in this product file it presents the reference E93-46-028-01-22. It´s a Pro Lift Kit specially designed for KIA Sorento III UM 2.0 GDI, 2.0 GDI 4WD, 2.4, 2.4 GDI, 2.4 4WD, 2.4 GDI 4WD, 2.2 CRDI, 2.2 CRDI 4WD. The estimated elevation is + 25 mm to the front and + 35 mm for behind. If you wish, there are Bilstein shock absorbers specifically designed for these coil spring and its use 4x4.

Thanks, I'm just not all that impressed. Anyone else have any luck with strut upgrades over OEM?
If you really want to upgrade, CARiD have some performance suspension parts. The link is for the 2017 FWD. https://www.carid.com/2017-kia-sorento-suspension-systems/?filter=1&sub-model[DriveTypeName][]=FWD+(Front+Wheel+Drive) Well sorry but it seems almost all of these struts are for different vehicles. carid seems very unprofessional by putting parts that would not fit the vehicle you searched for.

I emailed KYB as the only show rear shocks as as option and they said they have no info on when they may make front struts. Crazy a car with production numbers as high as the Sorento doesn't have strut options!!!

There appears to be some options in the EU the challenge then is finding a vendor that ships to the US. Some Good news you don’t have to pay taxes because you are out side of the EU. This statement was posted at the checkout, on a website I was trying to determine shipping but couldn’t without putting in my CC information.
