Hi,

Anyone here tried to upgrade SPORTAGE steering wheel.
From 3rd generation to 2017 ?

Do you think it is simple job ? Just remove and fix ?
Or it is not the same bolts or threads ?

Thanks,

Hello Mohammed! Most replacement steering wheels feature the same installation as the original unit and use the same bolts and threads, so their replacement is must easier than you think. Take a look at the steering wheels we have for Kia Sportage and let me know if you have questions on any of them.

Speaking of steering wheel upgrades, I was considering changing my '13 LX OEM wheel with a leather version. Does anyone know the removal procedure as well as the clock spring?

Thinking of this too, did you end up going ahead?

The clock spring and multi-switch plug ins would be the worrisome part. For the same years going to the leather wrapped would be no big deal, but you can't add the heated feature to bodies that did not come with it. A good way to check would be the part #'s
