Steering column cover screws

I HATE having to ask this in a forum, but I seem to have lost the two screws that hold the bottom half of the steering column cover!

Its a 2001 4door Gen1 Sportage.....Pretty sure all of them are the same.

I have had a HELL of a time trying to figure out what size those two screws are that simply hold the bottom half up to the column. The top half seems to simply snap on top (move your tilt, it'll be MUCH easier).

The two halves "sorta" stay on without the two screws, but it really fits like crap unless you get those in there. I just need to know what thread and length those are so I don't strip out the two threads in the ignition assembly (white plastic, probably EASY to strip)

I tried getting out three or four of my "McGyver" boxes full of assorted hardware, but can't seem to find anything with THAT thread. I'll of course continue buying little two and four packs of small metric bolts at Pep Boys, but they have REALLY gotten bad about selling these sorts of things. I miss the BIG sliding trays they used to have full of these fasteners ;-P

Don't reply to this.....Dunno what size they ended up being, but found two screws that fit up there nicely without too much fuss. They ended up about an inch long and just couple small panheads that still fit inside the cover assembly. I was missing those for about TWO years and was getting REAL annoying ;-P
