Okay, this isn't a KIA... but interesting nonetheless...

1999 Ford F-150

Drain Interval:
100,000 km or 10 years (whichever come first) Filter: Motorcraft?

Blackstone Labs Comment: Looks good! Try 110,000 km next time.

I have known people who purchased new vehicles, never changed the oil, only added.
Of course they were not the ones holding the bag for a new engine because they traded in every 3-4 years......

early in my auto tech career, this gal brought a vehicle (ford escort) in for her timing belt at 61K miles. No oil showed on the dipstick but made no wierd noises. She had never done an oil change to this car, ever. We drained about 1.5qts of the blackest, nastiest oil-based psuedo-lubricant I've ever seen. Took 20min for it to 'kinda' drain out. Had to do a double oil change (one to clean, one to use). Amazing

It's really not advisable to not change your car's oil. Go long enough without a change in oil, and that could eventually cost you your car. Once the engine oil has become sludge, it no longer draws heat from the engine. The engine might overheat and either blow a gasket or seize.
