1996 kia sephia
It sticks somewhat, when I press the brake it goes forward a bit but sometimes doesnt fully push that metal bar out of the way so I can shift out of park. (my brake lights do work)
Would I be able to spray some kind of cleaner/lube into it that is safe for electronics? I can see its working somewhat but its not pushing as far as it should. I also can shift into any gear any time with the car off and the brake not pushed down. But again, its the solenoid not moving far enough.
I dont have any money so was hoping lubing it would do the trick instead of buying a new one.
