In today's Winter Vlog, we install the DBC Drilled Rotors onto the Rio. The install went fairly smoothly a few bumps a long the way.. (Loosing a lug nut) but other then that it went great. However... the video did not go as I planned, the camera was not working in the cold weather and kept freezing on me. Hopefully the video didn't turn out too bad, and you still enjoy it!

All set up at the 2018 Toronto International Auto Show!!! The room still needs to be transformed though, this was roll in day! If anyone in the area is planning on attending the event which runs from Feb 16-25, the Rio is sitting in the 700 level at the Performance Auto and Sound Magazine booth. Come and say hi!!!

Well unfortunately we didn't make it to the final round of the Tuner Battlegrounds at the Canadian International Auto show in Toronto. However with the continued support from everyone I was able to make Top 4 cars out of 40 in the competition which is amazing and to be on display at the Auto Show in it's own was also amazing! The day after the show was a beautiful day so I took the car out and captured a few shots!

Also if anyone is planning on attending the Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Expo event 2 weeks from now in Toronto at the International Center (March 9/10/11) the car will be on display so make sure you come out and say hi!

Just a quick update..

Removed the Ez lip from the sides and installed proper side splitters. The splitters I have are meant for an Impreza, so it needed to be cut to size but the awesome thing about these splitters are they come with an end cap piece, so once you cut to size you place the end cap on the splitter which then completes the look!

I absolutely love them! More to come over the weekend, installing KDM Tuner Rad hoses, pics to come!

Looking into rear diffusers for the Rio and stumbled across this one installed on a Kia Forte.. Looks like it would be a good pair for the Rio also!

Thinking on ordering it, might need slight modification to work.

Let us know how that works out if you go with it! I have been looking everywhere for rear diffusers for our Rios but can’t find anything. Driving me nuts. I want to put an exhaust on my sedan but really want to wait till I can get a nice diffuser with exhaust holes/bumps or anything to go with it. I think it would look tacky with being able to see all of the rear exhaust.

A little while ago I posted about a rear diffuser that possibly might work out on my Rio. I am happy to say that it looks great and I have now completed my aero for the car! Make sure to check out Street Aero! I was also at Importfest this past weekend which was an unreal experience, I also took home 2nd place baddest import other! Added some photos from the event and the diffuser!

Let me know your thoughts.. or what I should do next!

Quick update ... The car season here is coming to an end with winter around the corner. Trying to get as many cruises and photos in with the Rio while I can. It will be undergoing some changes during hibernation! Stay tuned!
