We all know full wrap seat covers are a no-no due to airbags.

But I found SeatArmour to be a simple bath towel with sewn velcro to hang the towel from near the headrest. A little pricey I thought but the concept looks sound.

Since I don't want this to be an ad, please google as desired.

Hm?! Why would you like to put anything on a car seats?

Seats are:
- uncomfortable?
- you need to increase height?
- you want to prolong seats original state?
- you do not like current seats' color/shape/whatever?

Putting towels will look AWFUL! Similar like cars where people put doilies on head rests. Blah.

I agree. They look awful and only benefit the next owner.

But for this reason: want to prolong seats original state.

The black seats get dirty if I'm not in a business suit.
The black seats are then clean when I am in a business suit.
The next owner (my college-bound daughter) has like-new black seats.

and most recently: towels mop up the sweat of 100+ degree heat. When dates get in and mistake the wet seat bottom for something else, the date's over.

Eh, good enough reasons for a real car I think.

Hey Daddy-O

Thanks for another great idea! These seat covers are awsome, and I never would have bought them without a recommendation. I was able to get NY Giants logo so I am one happy camper. They are great for keeping dirt and sweat off your seats after a jog in the park. Not to mention the times I have to drop off my car off at the local KIA Service Department, or take my dog to the vet :) Well Worth The Cost

Totally agree. No offense but these seat armour covers look awful to say the least. I can't imagine using this for my Rio. If I'm too worried about getting my car seats dirty, i'd keep my car parked in the garage and take public transportation.

Why do you say so? As long as the seat cover is "Air Bag" approved if the airbag comes out of the seat, you are fine. It just has to have a lower grade of stiching to rip through. Its not a problem... especially since it has to rip through your dash on the passenger side.

Yeah, I'm going to risk my family's life to an "AutoAnything Air Bag Approved" seat cover. Gotta remember, gotta question who's doing the approving.

When Kia approves a seat cover for air bags, I'll look into it. Until then, I still think even towlies are questionable.
