Hi all, I'm after some help and advice.
I have just purchased a UK 2011 sportage 2 Crdi and would like to install a decent 'factory looking' sat nav with reversing camera.
What should I go for and where do I start? Are the cameras easy enough to install?
Really appreciate any help/advice.
Cheers

on ebay you can find some examples for the satnav and rev camera systems. Also in some posts on this forum you can find other alternatives for higher specs satnav system installated by members.

Thanks censu,
Can anyone recommend a unit they have purchased?
Seems to be quite a bit of choice out there.

I don't have any personal recommendations however I will remind you that you get what you pay for, so avoid those no-name units out there.

I would like a unit that has:
* 8" or more inches screen
* touch screen
* moulding and buttons with a design so it look like it came with the car
* input video feed (for reverse camera)
* dvds support
* navigator which content (map, speed cameras, ...) are updated frequently
* functionality to replicate (?) video and audio from an iPhone
* BT
* voice operated phone commands (of course in multiple languages)
* support for all steering wheel buttons
* an UI that does NOT look like it is from the early days of the Internet

...but I guess I'll have to manufacture it myself since most (all?) of the ones I've found lack one or more of the above. Very often the last one. :)
