IRVINE, Calif., January 3, 2020 – Kia Motors America today announced December sales of 51,229 units, an 8-percent increase over the same period last year. Kia sold 615,338 units in 2019, up 4.4-percent over last year and the third-best yearly sales performance in company history. Notably, Kia retail sales were up 7.4-percent in a down market, while fleet sales were at their lowest volume since 2014.

Sales were led by the Sportage SUV, which posted an 11-percent increase year-over-year, marking the model’s best-ever January sales performance. The month also saw the first retail deliveries of the all-new 2021 Seltos SUV.

Best-Ever February Sales of the Sportage SUV Leads Kia to a Twenty Percent Year-Over-Year Increase IRVINE, Calif., March 3, 2020 – Kia Motors America today announced record February sales of 52,177 vehicles, a 20-percent increase over the same period last year. Sales were led by the Forte and Sportage models with 8,513 and 7,934 units sold, respectively.
