SEOUL, Aug 9 Asia Pulse - Kia Motors Corp. (KSE:000270), South Korea's second-largest automaker, unveiled a new Iogo Monday in an effort to boost its corporate identity.
The move is aimed at enhancing the company's brand value by applying the same logo for cars sold at home and abroad, the automaker said.

"Since the existing logo is already widely recognized worldwide, instead of making drastic changes to it, we made a little modification to make it stand out more," Kia, a Hyundai affiliate, said in a statement.

Kia Motors exports nearly 70 per cent of its vehicles. The new logo will be used on all new vehicles, starting with the Sportage sport utility vehicle to be launched next month, the company said.
