I have a 2000 Kia Spectra GXS.

When I leave for work, come home from work or if the car has been sitting for a while I hear a rubbing noise coming from my left front tire. It sounds like the brake pad is running against the rotor? I don't hear it coming from the right side of the car only the left. It stops doing it after I have driven the car for a couple miles. Anyone have any idea of what I can look for or how to fix this?

first its not 4 way discs so the rear has a drum not a rotor....

some sephia and spectras had a problem when the actual brake shoe fell off.. has happened to me twice.. take off the drum cover and take a look in there.. its just 2 screws to take the cover off...
