Hello everyone!
Because of a snapped flex pipe, I'm replacing the center assembly of my exhaust. The bolts and flanges are totally rusted (New England roads). I managed to take the nuts off but am considering changing the bolts with some new stainless steel ones.
Here's my question. How are the studs held in place in the flange? Are the flange holes threaded? Is the stud press fit like wheel studs? Can I just go at it with a hammer and punch?
Thanks in advance
