I got a dog hammock and would work much better to put the rods of the head rest through.
So I go to take off the front seat one and one of the rods had a cable coming out of it and attacking into the seat.
What is this for?

Also with the 2nd row seating, how do you remove then hear rest back there?

It is part of the active headrest system designed to minimize whiplash injuries in the event you are rear-ended.

Oh well have to find a different way to do this then.

If you have active headrests you cannot remove them according to the owners manual.
