Ordered 22' SX trim on September '22 from a different dealer, and ended up getting 23' SX from my local dealer a week ago.

My local dealer got two 23's models and luckily I just called them at the same time to check if they have any 22 Sorento available and they offered me 23 instead.

Curious if anyone who has received their order had the dealer try to tack on a last second "market adjustment" markup. Hearing scummy dealers are trying to pull this after people have already been waiting a year+ .

We had no problem with this. Our dealer honored the original price with no markups. In fact, the provincial and federal rebates had increased by the time our Sorento arrived so we ended up paying $2000 less than if our car had been in stock. Anyone on the west coast looking for a good Kia dealership, try Abbotsford. Our experience was excellent.

We love the car. We ordered a 2022 Sorento PHEV EX+ in October 2021 and received it October 2022. It was almost a year to the day and when it arrived it was a 2023. There were no changes from the 2022, but because we waited so long they called it a 2023. Good luck with your order. In my opinion, so far the car was worth the wait.

I checked with our dealer a couple of weeks ago and they said we're #8 on the list (Sorento PHEV EX+). We're almost exactly a year from order date so I'm praying our car is on a boat over here or close to it.

I bought mine from waterloo kia. I never placed an order to obtain one. Just called them out of blue and took it the next day. I would suggest staying in touch with all dealerships every other week to get an update.

Was it a PHEV? Because there were multiple ICE options on the lot, just not the PHEV. (I also have an order in at Waterloo Kia.)

No, they all are ICE models. PHEV is very difficult to get as they are built in South Korea. Good luck finding one!

Still patiently waiting on my EX+ PHEV that was ordered Nov 2021. The first thing they said when I ordered it was 1-3 months. Last thing that they said was first quarter of 2023.
