We only looked at the PHEV because of the EV aspect and potential fuel savings...

Very interesting. Q1 can be January through April. Ours was ordered April 1, 2022 with a March 2023 delivery. I was already assuming it would be late summer or early autumn 2023 before we took delivery.

My dealer told me Q1 2023 for my order placed in October 2021. I’m wondering now if Q1 is a real date and Kia is planning a big delivery to Canada. Or it’s just some random deadline and they have no idea what the supply will look like.

I did check in again with my dealer and they sent me back the info that they received from the western regional coordinator and she said and I quote "VIN assignment for a Sorento PHEV ordered in November 2021 should anticipate VIN assignment in Q1 2023"

Ordered my EX on October 15th, was supposed to be 3-4 months delay, still no VIN, dealer has no update for me...I don't really care since I prefer to receive it when winter is over, but yeah delivery times are out of whack... (Montreal North shore)

My friend went in december to buy one and they were now talking about 1 year wait times...
