Recent Canadian delivery times

Waiting for SX PHEV in Graphite. Ordered Nov 2nd in Georgetown, ON. No VIN assigned as of last week.

We ordered our SX PHEV in blue mid October and received it the first week of December. We were able to secure a cancellation from another dealership in North Vancouver.

Waiting for an SX PHEV in blue. Ordered at the end of October and still no VIN

Any new update on Delivery time in Canada for PHEV, I just made my order

Oh That should be frustrating, I can understand that i need to wait minimum 3 months.

Ordered a 2022 X Line for my wife early September, took delivery early November. Within 10 mins of leaving the dealer we realized the heater wasn’t working. Drove straight back, they took it into service and here we are today, still driving a rental. Two months later, apparently nobody can figure out what’s wrong. What a nightmare.

Ordered a 2022 Sorento SX PHEV in Blue with blue interior on October 7th still no news for expected delivery :S In the meantime still driving my 2019 Soul EV. I am just south of Montreal in Quebec. Paid MSRP.

I Ordered in Quebec as well, not sure how long does it gonna take

Picking up my 2022 Sorento Ex tomorrow at North York Kia. My lease was up so me and the wife decided to get one. The Car was in the show room.

Dealer wouldn't budge on the price at all and we had to buy it with the Extra add ons (Extended warranty, Rust Module and 4 free oil changes). They did gave me a $3k Discount from my previous lease (I was below the Mileage Contract) and they added that to the sorento. Also got a 1% Rate reduction as a loyal customer.

Overall i think i did okay compared to some people in the US. North York kia has 2 SX models (Grey and white) for anyone who is looking for one.

Sales person called me saying they are not expected to get my car before March. I saw some docs saying that orders made in October are due for April and anything after that is slated for September delivery :S

Ordered my EX+ on October 15th, was supposed to be 3-4 months delay, still no VIN, dealer has no update for me...I don't really care since I prefer to receive it when winter is over, but yeah delivery times are out of whack... (Montreal North shore)

My friend went in december to buy one and they were now talking about 1 year wait times...

I ordered mine at ALBI KIA , St-Eustache,QC on Jan 2022 , they said 3 to 8 months delivery time. Seeing people not getting the order made in October. I am expecting an Year of Wait time.

Lol that's exactly where my friend went in December and he was told 1 year, so yeah typical salesman bull***, I hate buying a car, it's always an unpleasant experience

I ordered new SX PHEV from Scarboro Kia and I visited them 3 days ago they said that car will be in Canada in July. So, car probably will be 2023 not 2022. I am not in a rush however this delivering time getting weird day by day. 8-10-12 months waiting time is crazy.

That's where I bought my 2022 SX. Had ordered it in August and skipped on a 2021. It was hard getting them to honor the deal we had agreed to initially, especially with higher residuals of 2022s, but in the end after cancelling the order they called back and offered what we had previously agreed (around 2000 off MSRP). Didn't know this, but since the orders are through Kia Canada, if someone cancels their purchase they lose the allocation/sale and it goes to the next dealer on the list. They always told me 'we can sell it to someone else', and it bothered me during negotiations. Guess it wasn't true

anyone who ordered in october got news? it was supposed to be 3 months when I ordered, and yesterday I reached the 4 months mark, and the dealer can't give me any news...no VIN nothing...

Ordered (2022 Sorento SX PHEV) in Nov 21 and absolutely no movement; no VIN as of today. Dealership mentioned that Kia gave them new timelines - "For orders made in Nov, expect a tentative delivery timeline around July / August or probably even later" and being that it is getting so delayed Kia apparently mentioned that the "2023 model year will be delivered rather the ordered 2022 model year".

Taking this latest update with a huge pile of salt.
