Hi
anyone painted the rear window spoiler the same color as the body.

I'm thinking of painting mine white instead of black

Did you remove the spoiler to paint it? Is it easy to remove?

I got it made from a friend who works in a bodyshop

I think it's mostly 3m adhesive if remeber what he told me

I was charge 125$ for the job

There's a lot of black trim on the car body, so the spoiler doesn't normally look out of place. Still, nice improvement.

Has anyone painted the side molding? Probably needs a PVC-compatible primer.

While visiting my KIA dealership I noticed an all white Sportage that has all of the grey/black trim pieces colour matched...it wasn't my cup of tea; even the rear KIA badge was "blanked out" and coloured white...looked like a big Beluga Whale.

There's also the blue Sportage on display SEMA from a few years ago:

Wow, pretty. Thanks!

I like body-coloured side moldings, since it looks uniform. Those parts chip and rust and wear, so I think plastic, especially replaceable or toughened with rockerguard (etc), is a perfectly reasonable alternative.
