Have the 2009 KIA V6 with 4wd. Seems like the Idle is high when in gear and when Im in the snow Ill hold the brakes and the front tires lock up and the rear tires push the Borrego along. Its really annoying . Anyone else have this problem in the snow. You'd think having disc brakes all the way around the same brake pressure would be on all 4 tires keep this from happening.

Thanks Steve69

Don't know about the 4WD but the 2WD gets really stupid in snow/ice. You have to turn off the feature designed to prevent the truck from rolling over to have any chance of moving on slippery roads. The computer thinks it knows better than you how to manage in a limited slip situation and will not allow you to override its control.

had that problem also. All the power drops off to nothing when the wheels start to spin. Steve69

The anti-rollover software in the ABS system is managing your brakes and engine. Turn the ESC system off and it will be under your control again.
