I need some help. I installed a Sony XAV64BT in my '06 Sedona and now I have terrible FM reception. The antenna lead looks standard and seats well. Is their an antenna booster that has lost power due to the new HU? Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance!

When I added a new Sony cd/radio in my 06 optima, fm was awful, got a grid type antenna in the back glass, in-listed the geek squad at best buy gave them 15 bucks hooked up the antenna amplifier thats already in the vehicle, seems kia has an signal booster in the cars when installed the Sony it lost it's power feed. geeks ran wiring specs hooked it back up to power feed. Hope this helps.

Connecting the power antenna lead from the HU to the pink antenna trigger wire did the trick. On the Metra adapter I originally didn't hook it up, thinking it meant motorized not powered as in amplified. Ah well, a five minute fix and it works great now!

I'm looking for the Pink wire myself in a 2007 Sedona/Entourage. Any help is appreciated.
