Need a little style boost? Well, forget those dowdy has-beens and pick up this season’s must have – the Kia Picanto Glamour. From just £6,995 with one year’s free insurance*, it’s the perfect excuse to go shopping.

The Picanto Glamour features everything needed to keep the style-conscious looking and sounding glamorous – air conditioning, alloys, body coloured bumpers, sporty looking mesh grille and a MP3 compatible CD audio player; and with five doors and five seats there’s plenty of space for bags of shopping.

For the first time, Kia Motors has paired up with a media partner to create a special edition co-branded vehicle. In this case, with Glamour magazine, the biggest selling women’s monthly in the UK and Europe.

Readers of Glamour magazine will have the chance to win a Picanto Glamour in a special eight page supplement in September’s edition as well as fantastic treats and deals in its National Glamour Week 2005.

Kia dealers around the country will be hosting their own Glamour Nights in August and will combine a night of pampering with practical motoring information.

Lawrence Hamilton, Kia Motors (UK) Ltd, General Manager of Marketing, said: "This is the first time both Kia and Glamour have done a vehicle co-promotion and right from the start we both felt that the Picanto embodies everything a Glamour reader is looking for in a product – style and function at a best value price.”

Summer Offers

This summer, customers can flip their deposit to choose how they spend their cash – ‘heads’ they save £800 on the Cerato 1.6 GS hatchback now available from just £8,995 or ‘tails’ they purchase a Kia Sedona with £1,000 cash back and a free DVD player from only £13,995? Whatever, they decide all Kia vehicles are available with a £1 deposit and come with free seven-day drive-away insurance.

The Picanto LX joins its glamorous sister and offers one year’s free insurance.

Imho, thats what Kia is missing throughout it's entire range, a sporty car!!
They need something to raise the profile, so either a Picanto sports, with a 13./4 for insurance purposes, and/or a 2.0 VVTi sports Cerato...

:D PERFECT!

I would buy one at trade in!

I agree, its a shame that they don't do these as models in the range, certainly a 1.3 or 4 would really shift, the picanto isn't exactly slow of the line. :)

Great Idea murphwiz

The 'Glamour' looks like a step backwards. The now discontinued SE is perfect. Basically all they've done is replace the grill, reduce the number of speakers, remove the rear electric windows, coloured body mouldings, electrically adjustable mirrors, remote central door locking, perimiter alarm system, leather steering wheel and gear knob, sunglass holder, tray under passenger seat and front fog lamps. Basically all of the extras that got the car so well reviewed have been removed!!! They've increased passenger capacity fron 4 to 5 seats but at reduced rear seat comfort. The SE looked too good to be true and now it appears it was.
