While changing the oil the other day, I noticed a cream colored sludge around the CV joint boot. I saw that the boot has come somewhat loose, so I reset and tightened it. I also notice a weird noise coming from that location when I make a hard left hand turn. My question is, could there have been enough fluid to come out of the joint to cause that noise? If so how do I add fluid and what type?
Thanks,
Jason

If it was run dry (or low on grease) the damage is done. You can try to put more grease in, you will need some kind of syringe(spelling) to inject new grease.
