the Gwangju factory in South Korea that builds the Sportage has recently completed an expansion to produce another 120,000 vehicles a year, so this could help supply in the coming months. That same plant also builds the Soul, Carens/Rondo and Sedona.
But I believe from other articles I have read in relation to this that the "extra" models from Korea will most likely be absorbed by the Korean and US markets. Getting right hand drive deliveries is STILL difficult. We are still experiencing long waits for top-end models in Oz.
