Overhead Map Console Removal - 2021 Sportage

Hello Everyone. Just bought a 2021 Sportage and am looking to wire up and hide some wires behind the overhead map console. Previous vehicle was a 2017 Forte, and it was just a matter of removing 2 screws and the console pulled down fairly easy. The new Sportage however, I have removed the 2 screws I can see, but cannot remove it. Pulling with any force moves the entire roof liner in that area. I suspect there are 2 clips holding it, but prior to pulling to hard and potentially damaging the roof liner, thought I would ask here.

Can anyone confirm that there are just a couple of clips holding this in? Approximate position of the clips? Any photos?

Appreciate any help that can be provided.

I'm planning on wiring the radar detector like I did on my BMW. Can't find any information on what wire to use to get the power and how to remove the overhead console. Any help and or photo would be greatly appreciated.

Oh hey, this thread is unlocked again. Sorry for not responding sooner, but last time I was here the thread had been locked so I just didn't bother checking again.

Here is the final install of the radar. Cable runs up behind the mirror, across and over the side airbag out of the way should it go off, down the pillar and to the fuse panel where we tied into that white accessory line.

Thanks for replying, I ended up doing almost the same setup as you did. Only difference I went with the fuse addon, so mine is a bit simpler by just tapping on the auxiliary fuse (sorry don't have a pic of it). Here is how it looks now
