I've had my 2015 Kia Sportage since 2016 and have always wanted to put smaller wheels with more rugged tires on it. I'm a truck guy by trade and have always
thrown BF Goodrich tires on my trucks at the stock height / no lift required. I'm hoping to do the same on the Sportage.

Has anyone had success with a more rugged tire on their Sportage?

no reason why you can't do it if you stick to similar overall height and width.

off road tires would usually be louder and have poorer street performance.

skavatar - thank you for the response. I figured as much. I've seen a lot of folks with that setup in much older Sportages but
think it would look really good with the newer body style.

i don't have offroad tires, but i got taller tires. they fill out the wheel well really nice. i also go surf fishing on the coast, and hadn't had any problems.

here's some pics, current have Yokohamas, as the Falkens didn't last long.
