I need to replace the o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1.Where is that located?Also I've seen them priced anywhere from 19 to over 100 dollars.Will the 19 dollar one work just as well?Thanks again for the help!! Also is that the upstream or downstream one?Thanks again

Yes, he is correct: Bank 1 Sensor 1 ( B1S1 ) is the "primary" O2 sensor: this sensor provides primary switching info to the ECM -> allows for fuel trim adjustments,

Bank 1 Sensor 2 ( B1S2 ) is the 'secondary' O2 sensor: this sensor (monitors) gases after passing through the Catalytic Converter / determines Cat. Converter efficiency,

re: (which) sensor to buy - quality / length of warranty, and direct OEM fit vs. "generic" O2 sensor requiring wiring on your part directly relate to $$$ pricing:

*I've always had good luck w/ Bosch sensors, the extra $$$ are worth a one-time repair, vs. revisiting a failed sensor, just out of warranty..
