hey guys and gals, new here and asking what i'm sure is the best of all noob question. i've had this 2002 2.0L sporty for about three months and was looking to do a basic tune up. when i went hunting for the spark plugs i couldn't find them anywhere. where in the *[email protected]#[email protected]# are they hiding??

There is a cover in the middle of your valve cover, remove it and you will see the plug wires.

thanks for the info, i had a feeling that's where they were hiding i just wanted to make sure before i started just riping things apart. for some reason i'm having trouble finding a chilton manual on this thing.

When you get to the plugs, you might find some oil that has leaked from the valve covers.

Spark plugs used to stick out the side of the head on older engines, but multiple valve engines have them on top, often buried quite deep.
