Hello guys
I have a Kia Cee'd 1.4 109HP of 2007. I noticed weird noises coming from steering wheel when I turn steering wheel maximal right and then I release it.
I've recorded a video but I can't post links so far

Has anyone run into the same problem?
Thank you.

Could be the powersteering motor going, or powerin steering oil is old, contaminated or the level is too low. Does the sound come from inside the cabin or is it from outside?

If from inside, then there are bearings and joints starting at the wheel all the way down to the steering rod. These might be worn. Had an opel once that ejected a dozen bearings inside at my feet... Haha. Difficult to steer after that.

If the sound is coming from the outside then there are dozens of reasons. Ball joints, steering rod, antiroll links, etc.

Although turning to full lock that you get to the physical limit is not advisable. Puts a lot of strain on the powersteering motor. Try to just stay shy of the limit. But try not to ever exert (even a little) extra force at full lock as that can really damage things.
