Hi Guys; Hello from the swamplands of Louisiana. retired now and do most of my repair myself..But 2 week ago I had both of the belts changed. Now they are starting to squeel.
Don;t know how to tighten them. A little instruction would help me a lot ;
Thanks in advance: Karal It's a 97 Kia Sophia

first loosen the tensioner bolt. then theres a bolt on top and on bottom of alt. just loosen the bottom one and take off the top one. now push down on the alt make the belt as tight as you can.

tighten the bottom bolt while pushing down on the alt. then reistall the top bolt and tighten the tensioner.

For the power steering loosen the power steering pump/motor whatever they call it. push down on it and then tighten bolt.
