Greetings to all you KIA owners of the world!

I am not only new to this forum, but I am also a proud new owner of a 2004 KIA Optima LX 2.4L L4. :D It by far not a brand new car... used with over 29K miles on it when bought (formal rental car) <_< but it's all good.. it's still a good car. And to top it off.. this car is my very first car purchase! :p NEWayz, my wife and I both love the car, it's been good for us and out two little kids to ride in. It's now been about a month since the purchase and a bit over 1,000 miles driven and it's doing just fine; a little more because I've treated the car - Fuel Line/Injection cleaner in the first fill up and Gas treatments each fill ups afterwards. (FYI - The miles per gallon went from 14mpg to just over 22mpg with the treatments in a months spand)

My near future plans for upgrades are the following:
- Sylvania Silverstar High Performance Headlights (H7) - http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/A...nce/Silverstar/
- E3 Performance Spark Plugs (w/ Diamond Fire Technology) - http://www.e3sparkplugs.com/index.asp
- K&N Performance Air Filter - http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=33-2188

We'll see what else I will do to it, but I will not "rice" out the car.. I'm no longer a racer and do plan on racing the Optima LOL

NEWayz, just wanted to tell my story and to say that I'm glad to of found this forum! It's good to see that KIA FINALLY has recognition for it's products.. because I know its track record.. BUT remember ALL companies started the exact same way! So for those of you out there who are still knock'n on KIA.. remember that EVEN Honda/Toyota/Nissan went through what KIA/Hyundai are going through now.. newayz, that should be enough for now.. I'll write more later (much later!)

Heh,.. yeah.. it's a great first car! Even though I wanted to get a 2005 Mazda 6 Sport Wagon (OMG awesome car) I opted to get the KIA, since it was a great car at an awesome price! I've look at your profile and webpage (with the pictures...) gotta say the Optima looks great with the clear corners.. you gotta let me know where you go those.. and how did you debadge it? I mean with out stripping the paint and or scratching the grill.. looks wonderful with out the badging.. newayz, let me know.. thanks!

Oh and have you done so or are planning on doing any more upgrades to it?
