hello,

i'm in the need of new tires. i am not going to change the factory aluminum wheels i'm keeping the 15".

i use the car on hi-way most of the time. i do have a good bit of gravel a couple times a month. also do take it to muddy job sites a bit.

205-75-15 is stock size.

205-70-15 is what is on it at the moment

what other size are the people running on the stock rims.

also what brand?

thanks in advance

I just bought a set of Goodyear Assurance Touring. I kept the original alloy rims. Got lucky and got an $80.00 rebate from Goodyear. If this helps your decision any.

I'm running 215-75-15 Firestone Destination LE's but not on stock wheels. I did have them on my stock wheels when I first got them and had no issues.

I see you are in KCMO. I live in Raytown.

thanks,

i was wanting to go to a 215-75-15... i was told they would rub. i have not gotten the tires yet. still doing some research. tire rack has all the specs for the diameter of the tires. the 215 were are a bit over 1" - 2" in diameter i do not see how that little bit would rub.

i did find some cooper discovery they are a bit cheaper and have really good rating and feed back. a few guys i work with have had them and they have liked them. also they are stock size..

will be doing something in the next couple of weeks.

thanks for all the info.

The stock size is an oddball and of limited choice.

I put a set of "National Commando's" on mine (told they were made by Cooper.) I only had a couple inches of snow, last season but drove better than expected. On dry roads they handle so well, I'm surprised I haven't had an accident, high speed cornering.
