hi all, i am new to this forum. Just bought a 2004 Sorento EX-L and we'll be taking it home tomorrow. Just not sure what to expect given the low reputation that Kia has. I'm in Markham..north of Toronto area and I'm pretty much the only Kia Sorento owner in the area. Dont see any of these around. I hope everything goes ok. So far, the first reaction that I get from people when I tell them I bought a Kia vehicle is "why?"

To the experienced Sorento owners out there...any feedbacks on what to expect...I know bad gas mileage is number 1

Welcome to the site. I have a 04 Sorento LX. It is going to turn 11,000 miles today. No major issues with it. It is the best vehicle I have ever owned. Yes the gas milage isnt the greatest but that doesnt really bother me. I got pretty much the same reaction from people when I told them I bought a Kia. Once I took them for a ride in it they dont say why? anymore. They now think that is a very nice vehicle.

Hi, I have a Sorento EX1 Diesel in Spain. I have no problems with the car and I think that kia have done a good job with this car. I can't understand why you haven't the diesel model in America. It is a very good engine, 140hp and 34 milles/gallon
