I have a 2003 kia rio 5 speed with 107,300 mileson it. The best car Ive ever owned. Anyways can someone walk me thru replacing a broke clutch cable please. I am not a mechanic so please be very detailed in your description. Thanks.
I don't have an answer for you, but when mine started to go I remember initially thinking - it's just a cable, how big a job can it be? Unhook the old, hook up the new. I do a lot of my own repairs and thought I would tackle this. I don't remember exactly why I reached this conclusion, but decided that this was a job for the shop and forked over about $800. Certainly, you may have more knowledge and access to more tools, but just thought to give you a head's up that it's not the simple matter of "unhook it here and here." Congrats on getting 107k out of it - mine was shot at about 85k
