Just thought I'd share.

My wife and I got this van used from a corner car lot for less than $1,000. They said it was in great condition. It's been nothing but repair after repair for a year and a half now.

Worst of it was wheel bearing went out on front passenger (rollers fell out and everything on front end suspension wreaked). As well, they had the wrong size tires on the vehicle and none of them matched tread pattern or anything. So because of the right and left side front tires being different size, we were lucky to not get in a wreak when the front right tire blew out on the highway at 55MPH!!

Tire came right off the wheel!!

I have, of course, got all new tires installed of the proper size and rating.

Your lucky! But, you have now burned through a few guardian angels.

I had a tire come off like that back in 1979. Firestone 721.

Flipped the car. Chevy Vega.

Shattered left shoulder, six broken ribs, lacerated spleen, punctured lung, compound fracture of the collar bone, shredded left ear, multiple contusions broken left ankle.

Count your blessings it wasn't worse!!
