Its my front brake. Its only one side.
My friend changed the brakes, and noticed there might be something missing. He said it may be a " guard" but I don't really know what to call it.
Does anyone know what I may be talking about?
I just want my freaking tire to stop squeaking!!!

There is a shim that sits between the caliper and the pad that prevents the squealing. My guess is that your friend forgot to put it in.

He said it was missing, That was the first time he touched the front brakes.
But its only been squealing recently.
Is it possible that it came out somehow.
Or better yet, do you know where I can get another one?
I hope it doesn't cost like $500 for that little thing.

Number 6 are what you need. Your dealer should be able to get them for you. They should be cheap as they are just a shim.
