I do not get one thing here.
How did the muffler alter RPM? I do not see anything what could cause RPM to drop from 1800 to 1500 assuming that it was measured exactly the same way (torque conv. locked, steady speed, highest gear).
Again I say the response I gave to grumpy with the speed of the ping pong ball is my only answer? This is not the first time these mods have mad a differance. Again I say I may not remember the rpm perfectly but I thought when it was stock i was at 1700 at 65 mph now it is at 1550 to 1600 rpm. If that is not the case I am Sorry I was not trying to start a problem. I need some one with a stock v8 to drive down the road at 65mph and tell me there rpm. Seren? EXV8 can you tell me your rpm at 65 mph? It would really help. If you rpm is at 1550 1600 then it is settled I didnt pay that good of attention. If it is higher then I guess I am just lucky.

I went to the muffler shop a couple days ago, but it was busy. I'll try to come back today. But now I'm concern about what noise it's going to make.
My truck has more rumble then the car in the u tube video and It has more of a growl on rev up, I didn't remove any cats.

The Midas guys said they can't do much bending on the 3" pipe. I'll go to the real muffler guys next.
