:D I have had my Sorento since may and i am getting 18-21 MPG. I use regular grade of fuel. :grin: :thumbsup: Before i purchased, i had the dealer add the following options at no cost:
Towing package
fog lights
rear spoiler
running boards
front bug screen

I added the following options:
Mud guards
window air trim
rear cargo mat
:57:

My 2004 LX pretty much is the same as your with options other then it is Silver. I get pretty much the same MPG as you too around town with slight highway bursts mixed in. @350-400miles to 18-20 gals of 89RM gas.

9-7x aero & trailblazer SS use the 400 horsepower (298 kW) 6.0L GM Small-Block LS2 engine. Gets even more dismal MPG's than the 4200 I6.
Oh sorry your right I fogot GM and there half a$$ stuffing engs in things. An other version of that is the COLORADO/CANYON Twins get the 2.7L I4 and the 3.7L I5. But the Hummer (twins based) H3 can have the 3.7L I5 or the H3 Alpha gets the 300Hp 5.3L V8.
