Anyone have thoughts on the Fidelity Warranty Services plan titled, "Mechanical Failure Service Contract" offered by the Kia dealership. I purchased a new kia but to extend the basic bumper to bumper from 5 years/60,000 miles to 100,000 miles bumper to bumper minus exclusions for their extended Platinum coverage. You can cancel in 30 days will full refund then prorated time wise/ mile wise going out later. I am 71( in good health today, thank God ) and this being my dear wife's ride she kept her Hyundai Sonata for 15 years and 108,000 before parting ways in getting the Soul. Just thinking with the increase in tech on these buggies that past the 5 year/60,00 mile warranty (3 year Kia factory warranty on fancy radio) mark the repairs may be rather steep.
