FUELCONSOMPTIONPAMPLET

When I bought my car I had looked at that pamplet at the dealer. It stats that the magentis 4 cyl does 26 city/39 highway (mpg) and the 6 cyl 24 city/36 highway (mpg). Same as on Kia.ca under magentis specs. But on Kia.com website it says only 22 city/30 highway (mpg) for the 4 cyl and 20 city/27 highway (mpg) for the 6 cyl.

Are US gallons not the same as Canadian gallons?

I think that they are different. Those numbers are pretty far apart for the US gallon to be the same as Canadian gallon.

now that would explain why I thought my car was so hard on gaz! because I would calculate in US gallons when I was supposed to calculate in Imp. gallons. So I average 32 mpg mix driving, that's pretty good.... better then the 27 US mpg that I previously thought my car was doing.
