Just put new timing belt on an 02 Sedona, but it is a little loose. It is the correct belt, 259 teeth. Is there anyway to tighten? Any ideas?

Where did you get the belt? What's the part#? Is it the same length as the old one?

Part # is T323 by Gates. Had to take 1 of the pulley's off to get it on. Put the pulley back on and belt is loose.

Did you compare the old belt with the new one to make sure there were the same size? I would call the store you got it from to have them double check it was the right belt.

Took it back off, counted teeth on both, and measured, all is same. Took a pic before removing old belt, so routing is/was correct. Is there anyway to tighten?
