I had been leaking water from radiator?, having to top up quite often, put some rad seal in and thought the problem had been solved, and for two days did't need to top up.

Yesterday, the heater wouldn't work, started working eventually, then steam (thought it was smoke at first) started coming through all the heating vents inside the car. When checked water had all gone from radiator again, so topped up and the problem is still happening. I'm pretty sure I'm going to need a new radiator, but just have no idea why this steam is coming through vents!

Any idea's before I take it to the garage and they try to sell me a new engine!!

Thanks guys... spoke with a friends husband today and he said it sounds like the matrix, which is the heater core according to google, so looks like a big job due to location of part!
