I can’t speak to your area but I would get quotes from other shops too, asking them to assume the diagnosis is good for quote purposes. (because the BCM is the usual culprit but heads up some may be reluctant to give anything over the phone - the quote here does sound high to me but I don’t know what exactly the procedure entails)
