Hi all,

I was hoping someone less clueless than me might have an understanding for my underlying problem.

Put briefly, my remote/fob suddenly stopped working one day. Tried the basics such as changing batteries in both fobs (twice), tried to find fuses that might be attributed,but no luck there either, then the next obvious issue was if there was an aerial of sorts that became dislodged, and after some effort I found some suggestion that such a device may exist and be connected to a Body Control Module........... but can't locate it to check....... Does anyone know where it resides?

Ps, I did ask my local mechanic / auto-electrician to investigate but that was unyielding as well! He suggested putting a new central locking system............. I am not yet convinced that is necessary.

My fob went out awhile back. replaced the batteries and still nothing. It ended up being the fob itself.
