Just wondering if anyone has a complete list of all the different bulb sizes used on the Rondo. I did not see this in my owners manual like in all my other cars...

I believe this is correct:

Low Beam Headlight Bulb Size: H11B
High Beam Headlight Bulb Size: H1
Parking Light Bulb Size: 168
Front Turn Signal Light Bulb Size: 2357A
Rear Turn Signal Light Bulb Size: 1156A
Tail Light Bulb Size: 2357
Stop Light Bulb Size: 2357
License Plate Light Bulb Size: 6418
Back Up Light Bulb Size: 921
Front Side Marker Light Bulb Size: 168
Rear Side Marker Light Bulb Size: 168
Map Light Bulb Size: 175

Nope.
The map lights are 175 (stronger version of 168 = 5W), while 175 is 10W, although base is same.

Dome light is festoon 31 mm (I think) or 35mm. I think these are 7W or so.

Trunk is same. Festoon.

you are right
it is 168. I assume you are talking about the small one inside high beam reflector. The same one (168) is in the side marker - the orange one, on the side of car, and also in rear lamps.

Actually, the front turn signals are indeed bi-filament (7/28W) but the lower (7W) one is not connected to anything.

BTW - thanks for the pics.

I changed all 168s with LED. I am waiting for 15 SMD 5050 LED panel for trunk light, and probably will replace dome lights, too.
I changed map light with 20 SMD 5050 LED panel to test how it works. It may be too bright, though. Besides, that panel was too big to fit inside there.

eBay...
168
5-LED Car Light Bulb Lamp 158 Super 194 T10 168 SMD W23 - eBay (item 180531692387 end time Apr-07-11 06:53:00 PDT)
festoon
2 Dome 3 SMD LED Festoon Interior Bulb light 36mm White - eBay (item 370485603742 end time Mar-19-11 18:21:24 PDT)
light panel
Light Panel 20SMD LED 29-42mm Dome Interior Festoon 12v - eBay (item 250792559227 end time Apr-20-11 20:08:59 PDT)

And some pics...

Maybe it is not so obvious from them, but the map light (driver side, 20 SMD 5050 LED panel) is very bright and strong comparing to stock light bulb. I think I will switch it to 9 SMD. Will see...
For comparison both are on. The color is very hard to present as cameras will pick up white balance. I defined it based on some off white light, but still - it is not perfect.

License plate: festoon 3 SMD LED.
Headlight - compare the colors. Low beam is 4300K HID, while the LED (168 base) is 5 SMD 5050 LED at about 6000K. Used the same white balance.

I like the HID. Did you do a H11 conversion and just use a cheap HID kit from ebay?
This should help you: http://www.kia-forums.com/kia-carens-rondo-forum/49128-hid-5000-k-h11b-2007-rondo.html

Well, no I did not get a cheap one (and I regret now). At that moment I did not know what I know now... so I can tell you - get a cheap 4300K 35W kit.
Connection is your own preference.

I had suggested one retailer, but - this is your own decision. If I had known what I know now, I would have bought eBay H11 kit...

Are they brighter? Hell, a lot. No way to compare to H11b.

On the other hand - you may go with H11 halogen like SilverStar or something similar and connect it similarly to HID.

I may go with the Silverstar ultra bulbs for the low beam headlights see how they look..I just used your link and bought the 168 LED wedge bulbs for the parking lights they come from Hong Kong so It may be awhile before they arrive but they were only $3 shipped can't beat that.

you should have told me - I have two extra. I ordered 8 of those, hoping they would be good enough for map light - but they are not.

Anyway, I kind of doubt in $80 light bulbs... 110W from 55W? This sounds silly. Just like about 15 years ago when you could read/hear "super bass speakers, 600W" and then read the label that says "music power 600W, nominal power 15W".

I just do not believe in such writings. Either, they can specify what is the light intensity and color, or real power needs. Do not mess up two things. Regular bulb (not halogen) can be 200W. Right? Does it give brighter light than HID? No. It is still about 2500K.

They claim 4000K. Because they made it blue coated? I am skeptical...

What is the stock wattage of the low beam H11 bulbs in the Rondo? is it 55W?
I notice alot of other people running Hoen usa bulbs and on there site they list H11 bulbs as a fog light want to make sure it will work ok in our low beam lights as far as being enough wattage...

Chrome look bulbs for the signals once
Where did you get the turn signals from? Any link?

I do not want to scary you, but my experience is very bad with those...
Overall I ordered 3 pairs, and all of them turned out to be too dim to use as replacement.

When I checked, none of them was more than 22W, while rear turn signal is 27W, front 29W. The chrome coating made them even less bright so overall I was afraid to use them...

I ended up getting chrome like Sylvania SilverStar.

this is the link I think he may of sold out of them though...at $2.99 I don't expect much I think you are right they may be dimmer but I think they will work.
the link you gave me had silver (white light) bulbs. It will not light up orange (amber)... I hope you are aware of it.

It is not nice of you... really. I am disappointed.
turn signals should be amber. Not white, not even red (which is my, European opinion).
