My 2004 Kia Rio Cinco comes with P175/65R14 tires. My parents have a set of snow tires that are a little bigger. The snow tires are 185/75r14. I believe they will fit on the Kia wheels I have but I don't know if they will fit in the wheel well without rubbing. Does anyone out there know whether or not I could use the bigger snow tires on my Rio?

They should fit fine. The size difference isn't that big.

175/65/14 to a 185/75/14 is about a 2 inch total height difference. That's a lot on such a small car without any modifications to accommodate the larger tires. It may be ok in the rear, but in the front I would expect a rubbing problem, especially with the wheels turned. A safe upsize would be a 185/65/14.

I ran 185/70-14's on my 04 Rio with absolutely no issues. You could go to 185/75' -14's EASY!!
