Good Afternoon:

I have right now a KIA Picanto GTLine 2017, 1200cc, with the old radio. (the non touch radio, can't attach links for you to see) And i want to change it for the New GTLine 2017-2018 Touch Android Radio (The original one) (can't attach links)

Now,the procedure i know how to do it, but someone knows what is the KIA part number for me to search it on eBay or another web portal?

Thanks and best regards

Hi,
I've just resigned from buing a well priced Picanto GT 2017 because of the audio system - the Authorised KIA Distributors/Service Stations informed me that any changes to original audio system will cause problems with KIA Warranty.

I asked for the change of the standard radio-unit with 4 speakers to the new original 7-inch multimedia system and 6 speakers - but none of the Stations wanted to do it!!! Some said that the car-computer may not be compatible and that the Warranty would be valid only in the Service Station that performed the change and only for 1 year. Even the change of the speakers seems problematic as KIA did not provide any official alternatives, so any change will be unauthorised and any malfunctions to systems connected in any way to the speakers (audio-unit, computer, etc.) will not be covered by KIA's 7-year warranty :(

It sounds unprofessional (especially the part about changing 1 original system to another) so I'm not sure if that is an official policy around the world - but that is the info I got from several Authorised Distributors.

I'm buying a new 2018 GT Picanto, but I would love to add an amplifier and better speakers so if anyone has any good (official) news in this matter - please let us know.

I

Good Afternoon:

I Have the Picanto GTLine with twitters, it's that considered 6 speakers? 2 on the rear-view mirror, 2 frontal speakers + 2 back speakers.
I have read a lot of opinion on our country that the change can be done, but mostly you loss the USB and the AUX entrance (but the radio comes with his own USB and AUX) so it can be omitted.
But that radio that you can buy is the alternative one, that can be found on eBay, Aliexpress and others.

Hope someone can help me

Thanks and best regards
