Hi KIA-Forum & all,

I have started a wiring nightmare that I can't figure out. Please see attachment.
I want to connect my Pioneer radio to the car wiring.
I think I have figured out all the speaker wiring and have joint them together.
But, I am stuck with five remaining wires from the car and three remaining wires from the radio connected. I get +12 volts from the thin pink wire when I start the car. But, I'm not getting a constant +12 volts from the thick pink wire. The other three wires that I'm not sure about from the car wiring are the Green / Black strip and Dark Blue / Black strip and Blue / Orange strip wires.
Also my car remote immobiliser has stop working.

Please help!

Kind regards,
Andrew

In case you're still having issues
Here's a list of the color coded wires in your dash:

And here's the color code for most aftermarket radio wire harnesses:

Wiring Harness Color Standards | Sonic Electronix

Any wires that don't apply to your car (steering wheel controls for example), or that don't have anywhere to connect to, just cut or tape off the ends and leave disconnected.

Once you make the necessary connections (and only the necessary/ applicable ones), you should be good to go, but a $10 wire harness will make this much easier next time. Don't forget to reconnect the antenna wire, which is seperate from the harness. If you're still working on this, good luck
