Hi Kia enthusiasts,
New member looking for advice. Like to hear from anyone who owns a carnival. Any pitfalls to watch out for? Repair costs reasonable?
Cheers

Hi.
If your able to buy one new do that. Otherwise check its service history and records.
be careful of the 2oo2 model as this one had head gasket problems however reputable Kia dealers would have rectified this and I believe Kia is also replacing these motors with brand new ones.
Good luck
P.S. What state are you in. Ihave a 2004 model carnival and i love it. Look it up in the garage.

Hi Wild Kia,
Updated my profile, live in Adelaide. Thanks for your comments, heard motor problem was due to faulty thermostate and all motors were replaced. Didn't realize it applied to the 2002 model.
Good to hear your happy with your carnival, looked in the garage, it looks great.
Primary reason for carnival is that I intend using it as a company "van". Looking for classic but beleive they are no longer made.
Cheers
R.J.
