does anyone know where the RKE module is located at in the 03 sorento? thanks

Im not exactly sure where it is and what it looks like but look under the dash on the drivers side of the vehicle. Thats where I would think it would be. Why are you looking for it?

the drivers side is the most logical spot but unless i know what it looks like to some extent or extact location it will be hard to tell it apart from other modules. we just bought this one and they said it did have keyless entry but the remote was lost, so i'm just trying to see if it did come with it without having to go to the dealership.

Yes the 03 Sorento had keyless entry. If you go to ebay you can usually find the remotes for a pretty cheap price and then take it to your dealer and they can program it for you. If ya cant find any on ebay let me know. I got an exra one.

i know they did come with keyless entry but not all of them did, right? i'm wanting to make sure this unit had it before buying the remote key fob, thanks for the offer on the key fob, i will keep that in mind.

ours is a LX, but has several added items that were not on the basix LX model. also the factory keyless entry can be added at the dealers once the vehicle is on the dealers lot. i will probably have to go by the dealer to let them tell me if it has it. thanks for the info.
