hello everyone, the key fob of my v8 EX finally died....
I was able to buy an original replacement online for $40 but it needs programming.
Does anyone know what is the procedure to do it? Can it actually be done by the user or do I have to take the car to the stealership?
thanks!

After trying unsuccessfully programming it at a couple of indy shops, I decided to go for an oil change at the dealership and asked them if they would do it....
They charged me $100 CAD tax in, for the oil change + the key fob programming. Not too bad actually.
I asked them if they would kindly do a courtesy check on the vehicle, and they said that they inspected it thoroughly and found zero issues, so I am very proud of my Borrego :)
I know that they looked at it because at one point I saw like 4 mechanics watching it attentively, even for them the Borrego is a rarity, especially the v8 version.
