Hello, everyone. I have an iPod shuffle and have been wondering on whether or not it will work with my 2011 Kia Sorento? I know I have music on the shuffle and it will play music by itself but when I plug it into the usb port for my Kia it says that it is empty and I can not play anything at all. Does anyone know what I can do to make it work (it does not have blue tooth in it) is there another adapter that I have to get or do something a little differently than usual? Thanks in advance for your help.

Are you using this to connect it to your Sorento? If not, it isn't going to work.

Unfortunately, the shuffle does not take that type of end.
If thats the case then you will just have to use a standard Auxilary cable. If your Sorento doesn't have UVO (2011=no UVO) then you have to other choice unfortunately! UVO units allow you to just use the Apple USB cable but that started in 2012.

Just use one of these:

3.5 stereo cable into AUX is the best you can do with the Shuffle. USB is just for charging/computer download.
